◎简　　介　
　　看似四肢发达头脑简单，以跳脱-衣+舞维生的大块头(刘德华饰)，原来曾是和尚，深藏看穿因果的奇能。他遇上平凡女警李凤仪(张柏芝饰)，用“因果‘帮助仪追捕杀人犯。凤仪发现大块头曾经是个和尚，当年因为好友被杀，脱下袈裟赤条条离开佛门。大块头告诉她背后有一个挥之不去的“业‘，注定要死于非命。
　　爱上大块头的凤仪决定要做一生中最有意义的事，捉拿杀害大块头好友的凶手。大块头也决心要抗衡因果，改变不可能改变的定律&hellip;&hellip;

◎幕后制作
　　《大块头有大智慧》是一部比较另类的香港电影，虽然打出的是不折不扣地娱乐招牌，但我们从电影中更多的体会到的是带有魔幻色彩的意味。片中的刘德华身负20公斤重的特技妆，饰演了一位不折不扣的城市游侠，而张柏芝饰演李凤仪则是一个内心世界非常丰富的女性，因此两人的搭档也使整电影别开生面。不过从观影的效果看，多多少少还是有一点点心理恐怖的感觉在其中。该片获得第23届香港电影金像奖最佳影片、最佳编剧和最佳男主角三项大奖。
