【内容简介】
本片讲述了已故墨西哥女画家弗里达?卡罗传奇般的一生。弗里达（萨尔玛?海耶克饰）从小生活在墨西哥城，七岁的时候她患了小儿麻痹症，导致右脚活动困难，甚至不能正常上学。十八岁那年，她又遭遇了一场车祸，这场车祸不仅导致了弗里达终身不孕，还给她的心灵遮上一层厚厚的阴影，在以后的日子里，弗里达始终无法摆脱后遗症的缠绕。
